Fracture repair

At Mayerthorpe Veterinary Services, we have experience repairing many different types of fractures.  Every fracture requires individual evaluation.  Some fractures can be repaired with a cast, others require a plate and screws or pins and wires.  The different options for repair will be presented to you once your veterinarian has had an opportunity to evaluate your pet and their radiographs.  In some cases, referral to orthopaedic specialists may be recommended.
