Deworming

We recommend all sheep, goat, llama, and alpaca owners use pasture rotation, aggressive culling to build a genetically strong group of animals, and very strategic use of deworming products to manage the parasite burdens in their animals. This is because we have limited deworming products available, see increased drug resistance in these species, and the medications are considered "off-label" in goats and camelids.
